His story is now coming to life on the big screen, as DC ‘Shazam’s Zachary Levi will portray the quarterback legend in the new film ‘American Underdog’.

Levi will star alongside Academy Award-winning actress Anna Paquin and Dennis Quaid in the biographical drama set to release this Christmas.
Everything from his humble origins to even having Hy-Vee (the store he was stocking at) in the film, instead of some knockoff is incredible. I, like many other NFL fans anxiously await this film and relive the famous 1999 season that made Kurt Warner the guy who had to fight for his backup spot to a Super Bowl champion.
Warner would throw 4,353 yards for 41 touchdowns and just 13 interceptions. At that point, only Dan Marino had thrown more touchdowns in a single season. He led the St. Loius Rams to the Super Bowl and had multiple games where he would lead them down the field for the game-winning drive.
Now a sports broadcaster and commentator, Warner still lives in the world of football, and his legacy will continue to live on forever.
