Lynne Spears, Mom of Britney Spears has just now decided to stick her nose into the whole messy conservatorship business and request that the Judge let Britney have her own private lawyer in order to petition the court to end her conservatorship.
While this is really great and all, one wonders where this concern was 13 years ago when there was a 10 minute hearing that basically muscled a 26 year old fully capable woman into a conservatorship without her consent.

California law states that the conservatee should be given at least 5 days notice before the conservatorship even starts and they should be completely on board with the decision. However Britney was not given a chance and the whole thing was over in a matter of 10 minutes.
So now that its come out that Britney thinks that everyone who did this to her should be in jail and that she wants to sue her entire family, that’s when Jamie-Lynn and now Lynne Spears, her Mom, wants to come to te forefront as advocates.
Really now, where was this energy 13 years ago? I could see Jamie Lynn not being involved because at the time she was fresh off her very own teen pregnancy, but Lynne Spears just conveniently dipped out when the going got too tough for her as a Mom.
It looks like in an article that Sam Lufti, a former associate, of Britney’s that was interviewed, that there was some less than savory things he had to say about Lynne.
Lynne says that Britney had put the family through hell for years and that when Sam allowed her some monetary freedom to go buy what she wanted with her own money, her family practically hit the roof. Apparently according to these people it does not matter how hard you work, even if you get $15M from Estee Lauder, that is to be locked away for Mama and Daddy’s use only! No bougie makeup for you, go stand in your corner and practice your spins!
There was a lot of tea in that article, but one thing is clear, its sure is fishy how Lynne is suddenly interested in her daughter’s well-being now that Britney has stated that she wants to sue everyone involved.
I hope the judge does allow Britney her own private legal counsel now that her lawyer has resigned, even though at this point the judge could come back and say that Lynne has no legal standing in this case. Still, Britney needs someone on her side. We let off OJ, we let off Cosby, why not just spring Britney from this conservatorship?
Who’s cartel debt is she stuck paying off at this point? After all, James Spears had had substance abuse problems in the past and she did compare what she was doing to trafficking. At this point, you kind of wonder, is it? And how deep does the rabbit hole go? Stay tuned!!!
