Chrishell, for her part, made waves when she came out as an item with Jason for several reasons. First of all, she had just split up from her ex-boyfriend Keo Motsepe.
Given that it had ended in such a bitter manner, people were concerned that Chrishell was rushing into things. Not only that, but Jason also happens to be Chrishell’s boss. As such, there were concerns about whether Chrishell could do her job objectively.
Christine, though, does not see it that way. She admitted that they were destined to be together. In an interview with TMZ, Christine said: “The second she walked into the office, it was definitely love at first sight. There were sparks flying, I mean, we all saw it.”
Their relationship is bound to give the cast of Selling Sunset plenty to talk about. After all, Christine admitted that she and Chrishell have not always seen eye to eye.
While that may have been alleviated by Christine having a baby, the opportunity for them to form a better friendship may be aided by Chrishell’s new relationship.
After all, it does give everyone something to discuss. Christine added: “[The relationship is] really convenient. Just in time for [season 4]!” Nevertheless, things are not that simple though. Jason had dated Mary Fitzgerald, who also happens to be on the show.
Therefore, it is not clear whether Jason is a credible person, given that he seems to be going from one person to another. Not only that, there are concerns that Jason may treat people more favourably if they have been romantically involved with him.
Christine’s comments confirmed as much: “I personally think, you know, there’s a lot of favouritism involved — I haven’t seen it, personally, with Chrishell. But I have seen it with Mary, so I know it does happen.”
It will be fascinating to see how Chrishell and Jason’s relationship plays out in the new season. And one thing for sure, there is going to be plenty of things to talk about.
