NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal we were left with a couple of huge cliffhangers before the Olympic break. Let’s take a look at one of those and how it could play out.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: She without sin
First, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal we thought Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) would end up regretting her mission to expose Nicole Walker’s (Arianne Zucker) affair with Xander Cook (Paul Telfer). A one-time, drunken affair, but an affair nonetheless. Sami finally got her way when she paid Xander to crash the big anniversary party and tell Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) all.
Two problems here. One, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) knew it was her all along. She’d been hanging around the door all night and didn’t seem as shocked as the others. He knew her well enough to see her stamp all over this. So did some others in town. So, Sami confessed to EJ, proving that she’d lied initially. Not a good point in her favor.
Secondly, she should’ve known Nicole wasn’t just going to sit and take this disaster without doing something. When Sami quoted the bible at her, Nicole quoted it right back: “Let she who is without sin cast the first stone.” That was something EJ latched on to, and it likely made what happened next more believable.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Revenge
After the big fight between her and Eric, Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) came calling. Knowing Lucas Horton (Brian Dattilo) wouldn’t deliver that infamous letter, he brought it to someone who would—Nicole. Zucker was in her glory in that scene, as well as the reveal to EJ. We saw that darker side that’s been hinted at, but we personally haven’t been able to see. We kind of liked it and think she makes a much better bad girl than the self-sacrificing goody-two-shoes. Her actions are about to have huge consequences.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Playing with his prey?
When we left off, EH had just gotten back to the DiMera mansion after a massive fit in his office. One that was quickly followed by a demand for Kristin DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) phone number. We guess the obvious was confirmed.
He went into that mansion looking like nothing was wrong, but we all knew better. He made a comment about his “faithful wife” before moving in for what looked like a romantic moment.
Obviously, he’s not meaning this. But we have a feeling Sami is not going to learn he knows for a little bit yet. She made a comment once about how DiMera men react when their women stray. She seemed legit scared. Putting aside the not-okay nature of that, it makes us think EJ won’t just blow up on her right off and cast her aside. We think he’s going to play with her a while. String her along for just enough time to make his retribution sting the worst.
Honestly, we’re hoping he does. First, Sami should not have pushed so hard to expose the truth when she was guilty of the same sin. And she did it twice, with no booze involved. Secondly, we haven’t liked the little bit we’ve read of her relationship wth EJ. It sounds toxic and we’re hopeful this will make her finally open her eyes to the darker nature of their relationship.
Plus, Sami has to be taught a lesson in humility at some point. She still doesn’t see the full extent of how terrible she was during the whole baby drama with Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold), or the damage she inflicted with her methods, for her family and others. We’ll see if this does actually make a difference in her, but we’re not going to count on it.
