She wrote, “Hi Friends. A few months ago I was diagnosed with MS. It’s been a strange journey. But I have been so supported by people that I know who also have this condition. It’s been a tough road. But as we all know, the road keeps going. Unless some a-hole blocks it! As one of my friends that has MS said ‘we wake up and take the indicated action.’ And that’s what I do. So now I ask for privacy. As I go through this thing. Thank you.”

Celebrity News: Christina Applegate Diagonsed With MS
MS has been described by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society as “an unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system that disrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and the body.”
There are no known causes as of right now and some think that it could be genetic or caused by other environmental factors. There are more than 1 million people that have been diagnosed with MS in the United States.
The many celebrities that have also been diagnosed with MS are Selma Blair, Jamie Lynn Sigler, Montel Williams, and Jack Osborne. Applegate has shared bad news like this before and in 2008, she revealed that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer and then had a double mastectomy. She told fans, “I went through it, and it’s a horribly painful process- emotionally, spiritually, physically- and I never really talked about it.”
Applegate is in our thoughts as she continues her battle with MS. We hope that she can find the light and positivity in her life to help her to get through it. She seems incredibly upbeat right now and it seems as if she has some great medical experts on her side.
