‘The Bachelorette’ break out star, Tyler Cameron has written all about his path to being on the smash ABC show…and it’s pretty hilarious.

Cameron’s new book “You Deserve Better” is set to be released on Tuesday, July 27, but already early readers are buzzing about Cameron’s final audition to be on Hannah B’s season of The Bachelorette.

Because it was after that audition that he got super-duper high.

Cameron reveals in the book that he sent in his Bachelorette application in on a whim with “the douchiest picture of myself that I could find.”

Apparently not douchey enough because the model/brickie heard back from casting directors only a week later. After a Skype interview and in-person audition in Fort Lauderdale, Cameron was flown out to Los Angeles for the final round.

A loooooooong day ensued and, after meeting around 20 producers, Cameron was given a stipend to “go have fun in L.A.”

“The only ask was for everyone to be back at the hotel by midnight,” Cameron recalled…which he failed to do.

Because it was then he got super-duper high.

Before meeting a friend for dinner, Cameron decided to ‘broaden his horizons’ and visit a California marijuana dispensary. Unsure of joints the new author decided to start with edibles “which is probably the worst thing to start with,” he soon realized.

It was at dinner the edibles hit

“I was like, ‘Holy smokes, I am so, so, so high,'” he recalled with a laugh. “[My friend] was trying to talk to me and have conversation and all I could do was laugh and eat my food.”

It wasn’t long, however, before the paranoia kicked in and the now 28-year-old became convinced that the “Bachelorette” producers were following him around.

“I went to the bathroom and thought they were taking pictures of me in there,” he exclaimed. He even convinced himself that his Uber driver was an undercover producer keeping tabs on him.

Arriving back at the hotel about 15 minutes late, Cameron, of course ran into producers and he thought all his hopes were dashed.

“The whole flight home, I thought to myself, I am going to get cut,” Cameron wrote in his book. “At that point, I figured the producers knew I had been high and that I’d broken curfew. There was no way I was going to get on this show after my behavior. I couldn’t believe I had blown it.”

As we all know, he didn’t blow it and became an instant favorite amongst Bachelor Nation and of the Bachelorette’s.

So, what was Cameron doing when he got the call saying that it didn’t matter he had gotten super-duper high?

He was serving champagne to shoppers at Cartier on Valentine’s day. It looks like he was always meant to be around all those roses…just not so much the weeds.
