Prince Harry’s release date for his upcoming book has threatened to disrespect the members of the Royal family.
Prince Harry’s Upcoming Memoir Branded As ‘Disrespectful’
That is according to Royal reporter Nick Bullen. Harry is set to release his book at the back end of 2022, which will coincide with the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. This is a celebration that will mark the prospect of the Queen being a ruler for 70 years.
And if that date were to not change, then there is a real prospect that Harry may not be attending. After all, it would almost be impossible to blast the Royals and then celebrate with them. In an interview with Us Weekly, Nick outlined how Harry’s book has been stirring up worry amongst the public.
He said: “I think here in Britain, the announcement of this book has undoubtedly sent shockwaves around the place, both at the highest levels of society and just with the average amount on the streets.” One of the reasons why the public has criticised Harry has been due to the open manner in which he is revealing his problems.
He had already done so with his Oprah interview on CBS. That seemed to be the final straw, and yet, it looks as though Harry is just starting. That has left the public wondering when will Harry let this go and move on. Nick added: “I think it was a couple of [interviews], the first was surely enough, surely the other interview was enough. Let’s draw a line under it … [and] let’s try and start rebuilding from there.”
In addition, the approach taken by Harry could also be viewed as hypocritical. He admitted that one of the reasons for leaving the Royals was due to the incessant media attention he was getting. And yet, since he has left, he has been using the press at every opportunity to bash the Royal family.
While he has every right to do so, there is the tacit agreement that Harry should be able to deal with whatever comes his own way. But Harry’s stance has left people hurting. Nick continued: “It upset people [and it] could be seen as disrespectful.”
