Christine Quinn Opens Up On Her Traumatic Pregnancy

The star of Selling Sunset gave birth to her son earlier than was intended. While the birth was complicated, Christine has made a remarkable recovery in being able to return to work so quickly. And yet, the horrors that she went through have stayed with her as she tries to navigate her life.

In a post to her fans on Instagram, she shared a picture of herself and her son as she is holding him while he is sleeping. She has a huge smile on her face.

The post was captioned with the following comments: ”Two months ago today, you made an extremely dramatic entrance. I was rushed to the hospital already 9cm dilated. Hyperventilating from the excruciating pain, I was immediately rushed into an emergency crash C-section.”

And given that she returned to Selling Sunset immediately after the birth, she had to open up on what she had experienced during the pregnancy.

This made Chrissy feel very emotional for several reasons. First of all, she had to relive what she had just gone through. Secondly, her husband, Christian Richard, was at home in charge of looking after the baby. So without his support on set, she had to stay strong knowing that there were cameras.

And this naturally took its toll. She added: “Reliving the trauma on Selling Sunset about my birth experience was one of the most difficult things I have ever done, let alone allowing these very raw, personal moments of my life captured on camera.”

Nevertheless, Christine has no regrets over how things turned out in the end. She admitted that it was an experience that she would never forget, and due to the perseverance of the staff, she could not have done it without them.

She continued: “I am so grateful for the doctors and surgeons that saved BOTH of us. I thank God every day for my blessings and my miracle baby.” Christine was very brave to open up on her experience, and she serves as an example to others who have gone through similar struggles.
