Blake Lively is known for her good humor, especially when tussling with husband, Ryan Reynolds. However, Lively has nothing to be joking about when it comes to a frightening experience her three children James, 6, Inez, 4, and Betty, 21 months recently went through with a far too eager pap.
Just days ago the 33-year-old star shared an impassioned message in response to a series of photos that had been published by a tabloid on social media of herself and her daughters.
Lively’s comment on the since-deleted post detailed the “frightening” experience behind the photos.
Blake Lively Slams Paparazzo For Stalking Her 3 Daughters
The mama-bear wrote, “You edit together these images together to look like I’m happily waving. But that is deceitful. The real story is: My children were being stalked by a men [sic] all day. Jumping out. And then hiding.”
The comment went onto explain that even a stranger on the street came to Lively and her children’s defense as they, too, were upset to see the photog jumping out from behind buildings and people in the street, block after block.
The actress continued her blast, claiming she tried to “calmly approach” the paparazzo who “would run away” only to “jump out again at the next block.”
She then beseeched the tabloid, “Where is your morality here? I would like to know. Or do you simply not care about the safety of children?”
Lively usually has a good relationship with the paps who have agreed to leave her children alone if Blake poses for a shot or two.
“Please stop paying grown ass men to hide and hunt children,” she finished her rant. “C’mon. Get with the times.”
Fellow mom, Gigi Hadid has also been at loggerheads with tabloids publishing pictures of her 9 month old daughter with One Direction alum, Zayn Malik. She pled for “paparazzi, press and beloved fan accounts” to please blur baby Khai’s face in any images.
“You know we have never intentionally shared our daughter’s face on social media,” the 26 year old model wrote. “Our wish is that she can choose how to share herself with the world when she comes of age, and that she can live as normal of a childhood as possible, without worrying about a public image that she has not chosen.”
Hadid finished her plea with, “I just want the best for my baby, as all parents do.”
Sounds like a pretty sane request to us!
