‘90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way’ season two couple, Brittany Banks and Yazan Abo Horira were doomed from the start. With Yazan trying to change Brittany to submit to his culture and Brittany doing…pretty much everything she could on social media to oppose Muslim modesty, no one saw the two ‘star-crossed lovers’ as the perfect match.
Throw in the fact that Brittany was still married to her ex and that Yazan’s family put a death warrant out on him if he married Brittany, let’s just say, everyone seems to be in a better place now that the two are apart.
‘90 Day Fiancé’: Brittany Banks is Salty About Her Ex Getting Married
This rings especially true for Yazan who was married to his new bride, 21-year-old Leena this past week. Brittany who went on to star in 90 Day: The Single Life however, isn’t sending her ex a congratulations card anytime soon.
After Yazan posted his wedding date and details, fans waited patiently with a bowl of popcorn for Brittany to retaliate in a very Brittany way. She did NOT let us down.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, a heavily filtered Brittany (I mean, we have to presume it was her even though it was a passing resemblance at best) decided it was time to spill the tea on what happened between her and Yazan that cameras didn’t catch. At least in the world according to Brittany.
First the Floridian claims she was the reason Yazan made enough cash to pay his new wife’s dowry saying she gave him “the opportunity to make a lot of money, more money than he’s ever made in his life.” Brittany further claims that Yazan liked to label her as a gold digger, yet never offered up a dowry when they were engaged.
To be fair, he did lose his job and home and nearly paid with his life…so there’s that.
Brittany then claims Yazan cheated on her- with the very woman he married! She further claims that Yazan should be paying Brittany back for the money she spent on him to make him “look good on TV,” but instead is using his cash to pay Leena’s family the $13000 dowry they asked for.
If Brittany expected sympathy, she was sorely mistaken. Fans of 90 Day Fiancé called her “salty” with one saying “I wouldn’t pay $13,000 to be with Britney[sic] either, lol”. Another decided they were done with her sour grapes saying simply “Bye, Brittany!”
We think Brittany’s time is done with the TLC franchise…which obviously means we will see in 20 more offshoots at least!
