‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that there is a chance that Summer Newman (Hunter King) may be on her way to Italy after all. While we’ve known about actress Hunter King’s role on an upcoming ABC primetime series, could she see more time spent over there?
The show was supposed to begin shooting in October of 2020, however, COVID-19 really missed everything up so the pilot was put on hold. Now though, the show may be getting back into the spin of production and we could see King on that set as well.

The thing is, the shoot for the series, ‘Prospect’ will just be the pilot. A stand-alone episode that will attempt to be marketed into a full series. Though, if it does get picked up, it could mean some difficult times ahead for King, as Y&R is shot on CBS, and this show would be on ABC.
If she’s to become a series regular on ‘Prospect’ it could mean that we won’t see as much of Summer Newman in Genoa City, and like with Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson), they’ll keep her on the show, but away on another continent occasionally bringing her back when there’s something she can do.
It’s looking like Italy could be a real possibility and with Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) scheming back in Genoa City, we could be in for quite the show.
