Jill Duggar has hit back at her critics after she was called out for feeding her dog some breast milk.

The star, who is best known for being on Counting On, has had to deal with a lot of problems of late. Her brother Josh Duggar had infamously been arrested for offences relating to child pornography. While that has been enough to keep Jill occupied, it seems the family’s critics have now focused on her treatment of pets.
In a post to her fans on Instagram, we can see a picture of Jill’s dog having the breast milk from the bowl. The post was captioned by the following comments: “Before any of you jump on me for feeding it to the dog, she’s fine. She’s totally fine. I wouldn’t have given it to her if I thought it would make her sick. So just chill mkay?!”
It was very bold of Jill to make such an audacious move, but in her defence, it was not done out of a passion for breast milk. Jill opened up on how it was the last few remnants left in the freezer, and she gave it to her dog in order to prevent her son Samuel from trying it. The latter had become curious as to what it could be, so Jill made sure she discarded the evidence.
She added: “[It was the] last teeny bottle of breast milk in the freezer…It’s probably a freezer-burnt nutrition-less substance now. … It didn’t look or smell bad when I thawed it out, so I let him try it.” Despite the controversy, how did the dog take to it? Well, as could be expected, not very well. This is no surprise, given that Jill did not see it as being worthy for her kids.
But jokes aside, it was probably wise that she did not give a lot to the dog for fear that it could make it sick. And the dog’s reaction said as much. She continued: “As expected, he didn’t like it after trying a couple sips.” It is safe to say that Jill will not be serving her dog any breast milk anytime soon.
