‘Bachelor in Paradise’: Raven Gates And Adam Gottschalk Want To Have Kids
The pair first met on the 4th season of Bachelor in Paradise and ended up getting engaged in 2019. While a wedding had been lined up in the aftermath, the pandemic caused major disruption with the ceremony being called off on three occasions. But it was all put to bed when the duo tied the knot in April this year, and this has allowed them to turn their attention towards having kids.
In an interview with Us Weekly, Raven said: “We’re definitely working on a family. Hopefully, sooner than later, that would be great. “I think we agreed [that] we’d like two or three. But Adam has said, you know, we’ll see how I do with two and then go from there.” And by the sounds of it, the two have already decided on how they will approach their parenting.
Being a parent is no meant feat, and given that it would be the couple’s first child, they are naturally going to have their own views on how to do things right. They discussed how they would adopt different parental styles with an emphasis on showing some tough love. Adam stated: “I’m probably going to be the tougher parent at first and then it’s going to change when we have more to you,” to which Raven replied: “I think you’re right.
“I think in the beginning it’ll be you, and then it will change to me.” The couple have so many things to look forward to, but not much has been said about whether they have already begun trying for a baby. This is understandable given that they have just confirmed their marriage only a matter of months ago.
With that in mind, the two are looking to enjoy that as much as possible before they fully commit to having a child. This can be seen in the following video. In the clip, we can see Raven kissing Adam on the cheek as she is holding their marriage certificate high and proud.
