General Hospital spoilers for the week of June 1st reveal there will be a lot of action in Port Charles this week. The promo, called, “Take, Take, Take,” mostly focuses on Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Let’s take a look at what the clip showed, what we can’t wait to see, and what fans think.
General Hospital spoilers: The promo
First, let’s talk the promo clip. General Hospital spoilers reveal they’re breaking the budget this week, and it looks like it’ll be great. There will be some outdoor action involving a helicopter. Upon pausing the video, it looks like Peter August is on the roof, and we think we might finally see how he went down those stairs. We do, however, think the copter might be more about Cyrus than him, but we’ll see. Why?
Well, because Cyrus has a hostage, and we’ll see a big stand-off happen. During one shot, we hear a scream, which we can only assume comes from Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr). We’re hoping she makes through this, because Cyrus is looking pretty desperate and unkempt in that scene. Clearly, there is no going back for either of these bad guys.
Meanwhile, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) wants someone to brace themselves, because there’s a lot to catch up on. She obviously has to be talking to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), and we’re looking forward to this scene. Brook Lynn will likely be wondering what she’s gotten herself into with this baby scam.
General Hospital spoilers: What we can’t wait for
Of course, General Hospital spoilers reveal Peter is the main focus of the two bad guys. In the promo, Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) runs through the list of things taken from Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and her. She insists Peter doesn’t get to take anything else away, and she sounds like she means business. We’re looking forward to seeing Elizabeth go on the attack and kind of low-key want her to be the one to shove Peter down those stairs.
General Hospital spoilers: Reaction
Finally, it looks like the fans are loving what they see. The video quickly garnered comments from fans who are looking forward to the action.
One said, “All hell yeah, this is gonna be so good, General Hospital is totally dominated, Alongside Days of our lives, they are the top daytime dramas right now, Cyrus won’t go to prison, he going to retaliate with a vengeance.”
“Wow this week is going to be juicy! Hopefully we get to see a lot of Jason and Brit! The chemistry between the two is crazy!” added another.
Finally, one fan said, “Damn. This promo gives me pingles. General Hospital is on fire right now!!!!!!”
We have to agree. This show and Days of Our Lives are really bringing the action and the funny moments. Hopefully, they can keep this up because it’s feeling a bit more like some of those flashback episodes. Back during the shutdown, we saw the huge change in quality, and it’s good to see things getting better every week.
