’90 Day FiancĂ©’ Spoilers indicate that Low has returned from his quarantine time in California and asked to speak to Kalani all by her lonesome. They went out on a father daughter outing to get coffee. Kalani was kind of surprised that he took her to get coffee instead of going to the shooting range like they used to do when she was a teenager.
She said that since she has had kids that she hasn’t really gotten a chance to hang out with her Dad one-on-one because it’s usually just them together as a family, but today, Low wanted to speak to her specifically.
’90 Day FiancĂ©’ Spoilers: Low and Kalani get coffee
They showed a clip where Kalani’s Mom Lisa told Low of the fight that Kalani and Asuelu had, and the fact that Kalani was considering getting a divorce. Low then asked her to go get coffee with him, and Kalani instantly knew that something was up.
When they got there, Low got coffee and a muffin, and Kalani opted for a big gulp-sized cup of orange juice. (Which looked really good.) It was then that Low asked her how things were with Asuelu and Kalani was honest, she said sometimes things were really good with Asuelu and sometimes things were really not good with Asuelu. Low was the one who asked about her possibly getting a divorce.
Kalani said that she as trying her best not to get a divorce but ultimately she does not believe in staying with someone for the rest of your life if you don’t get along, and she honestly has a point. Low has a way more old school way of viewing things and thinks that Kalani ought to think about her two kids before getting a divorce.
However, he did say that if the kids weren’t boys, he wouldn’t even bat an eye at her potential decision to get a divorce but he thinks that the boys need their Dad. That is a decidedly… kind of sexist view of things. So if Kalani had two girls instead of two boys he would give her his blessing to get a divorce, even though there is also psychological damage associated with girls losing a parent to divorce too?
’90 Day FiancĂ©’ Spoilers: Wow Low, way to be a boomer.
He said in Samoa that he didn’t even think there was divorce lawyers, and that when someone got married they just decided to stick it out. He also advocated for Kalani staying with Asuelu in lieu of getting a divorce, although, he said that ultimately it was her decision.
That’s right, it is her decision and if she wants to kick him all the way back to Samoa then she should have that right. Honestly, if Kalani’s going to leave, now would be the perfect time, when the kids are young and while she’s still young enough to re-build her life. Low needs to pull his head out of his boomer mindset. Let’s hope Kalani does what’s right for her. Stay tuned!!!
