‘90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: Is Brandon Gibb Really Moving Off The Family Farm With Julia Trubkina On ‘Happily Ever After?’

‘90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After’ find that Brandon finally man-ed up on this week’s episode and told his parents he and wife Julia Trubkina would finally, finally be moving off the family farm, and out from under his parent’s clutches.

Such a long time coming, what was the straw that broke the camel’s back? Betty dared to celebrate her son and daughter-in-law’s wedding with a cake and a toast- that monster! But it actually is more dastardly than it sounds.

First, let’s preface the storyline set up by reminding ‘the folks at home’ that Betty had an absolute conniption when Brandon and Julia voiced their desire to hold their wedding on the day BEFORE Mother’s Day.

‘90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After’: Is Brandon Gibb Really Moving Off The Family Farm?

When Covid hit, the pair changed the date and had a tiny ceremony with no reception…but they were a-okay with that.

Now, as Brandon’s dad, Ron reached his 70th birthday, sMother Betty suggested they combine his birthday party with a wedding celebration for Brandon and Julia.

But she couldn’t give them the day BEFORE Mother’s Day.  Like, whaaaaa????

However, Ron needn’t worry about sharing the spotlight because, for whatever reasons, Brandon and Julia did not want their marriage celebrated in this way.  They very succinctly voiced their feelings to Betty and Ron so, of course, Betty respected their wishes and they all celebrated Ron’s birthday together and everyone lived happily ever after.

Okay, not quite.

Lo and behold, Brandon and Julia arrived at Ron’s party there was a whole section just for them, with wedding decorations, a wedding cake and the officiant of their wedding on hand to give a toast. Furious, Brandon and Julia confronted Betty before storming out of the party.

Betty blamed Julia (who is responsible form Brandon’s much needed new backbone, or at least back cartilage), not her own stepping out of bounds.

Now that Brandon has FINALLY clued in that his parents will never not butt into every part of his life, he sat his folks down and told them that, as a married 27-year old man, he wants to move out. The horror!

The Gibbs respected this decision and, behaving like the mature adults they are, supported their adult son’s decision.

Okay, not quite.

Accusations flew about Brandon being ungrateful, that he’ll never make it on his own and he was a disrespectful brat. While they may be a little bit right, the sentiment of Twitter was that they really need to let this (27 year old) baby bird fly.

While most fans applauded Brandon’s new back cartilage, many more were dubious that the newly weds will follow through and get themselves off that dang farm! Especially when Ron pointed out how unprepared Brandon is to be an adult. And who’s fault is that, Ron???

Do you think they will actually, finally move out? Let us know your thoughts on Julia and Brandon’s storyline this week in the comments below and keep watching 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, Sundays at 8pm on TLC!
