James Kennedy and Raquel Leviss dropped a major bombshell by confirming that they have gotten engaged.
‘Vanderpump Rules’: James Kennedy and Raquel Leviss Announce Their Engagement
The duo, best known from Vanderpump Rules, first hooked up together in 2015. At that time, James was already on the show. However, Raquel would go on to make an appearance as things started to get serious between the two. And the rest was history as they appear to be settling down. In a post to his fans on Instagram, James shared a picture of him and Raquel kissing each other.
The post was captioned by the following comments: ”THE LOVE OF MY LIFE, said yes. #RACHELLA” So how was the reaction? Well, as could be expected, rather well. Several stars from the show came out and showed their support following the news. Scheana Shay wrote: “Wooooohooooooo,” while Danica Dow stated: “CONGRATS. so happy for you guys.”
Despite the evident happiness on show, things were not so rosy from the outset. There had been rumours that the couple had cheated on each other. And just when you thought that was bad enough, James’ drinking problems became more prominent. While James would go on to go sober, it was not without its challenges.
But through that darkness, he found Raquel as she was instrumental in helping James overcome his problem. In a post to his fans on Instagram at the time, James shared a picture of himself and his dog as he looked in better spirits. The picture was captioned by the following comments: “I don’t miss the booze …… I’m so grateful for everything now, and life has become more beautiful in many ways.
“Thank you to my rock @raquelleviss for getting me here. I couldn’t of done this without you, my love.” And that moment of support during those critical moments made James realise that she was somebody that was going to be there for him. Six years later and they are still going strong. Now they can focus on planning the next stages of their lives.
