‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) had an ominous message from Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) in a new sneak peek for next week! In the brief clip, we see Michael walk into the room and tell Chelsea that the judge has made a ruling in her case.
Chelsea quickly asks (and almost assumes), “Am I going to jail?”
Last we knew, she had a deal worked out with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to avoid jail and just spend some time in her mental institution, although, I’m not sure Victor was true to his word!

‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: What Will Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) Ruling Be? Jail, Freedom, Or More Mental Institution?
What if this was all part of Victor’s plan? To get Chelsea to go along with this idea, let her think she was going to be fine, then pull the carpet out from under her and send her to jail after all? He’d do anything to keep his precious baby boy Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) safe and feeling good, so why not?
This, as I think everyone knows, will probably be the catalyst for Egan going on maternity leave as she readies to have a baby. Though, how much longer will we see her, and will they just write her off that she’s in jail over the next few months?
What do you think? Do you think Victor changed the deal or could this actually be a good thing for Chelsea? Maybe the judge felt sorry for her and is changing her sentencing? Let us know in the comments below.
