‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that I’m about to hurt the feelings of some #Skyle fans out there, and I’m okay with that. I had previously written about how disgusted I was by Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) for pretending that his son didn’t exist.
Now, he’s being forced to step up and hopefully fight for custody of his child, but I don’t think he will ever be okay in my book.
Being a father myself, I can’t understand not wanting to fight for your child and letting them live a lie. That’s beside the point though, and another article.
This one is going to tackle the question of, could there be a future between him and Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner)? Oh, I can feel the blood boiling already.
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Could There Be A Future Between Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) & Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner)?
I know #Skyle fans are going to say that they’re meant for each other and should never be apart again, though, I think there’s a case to be made for Kyle and Tara. While their love affair may have only lasted one night, they created something that will live upwards of 100 years (especially in today’s society and they’re wealthy!).
There might be a chance that Kyle’s son Harrison will supersede anything he has with Summer Newman (Hunter King). While I know that’s hard to imagine, if I was forced to choose between my child or a relationship, I’d pick my children every time.
While right now they’re getting ready to marry, again. And right now there’s a lot of confusion and they’re not quite sure what’s happening, I think there is a very possible storyline where we see Kyle be with Tara for a short while to raise his son after defeating Ashland.
Of course, after a while, Kyle would be sucked back to Summer, but at least he will have helped raise his son and be a father to Harrison. This is a soap opera after all, right?
