The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga is making it pretty clear that she’s not happy in her marriage to her husband Joe Gorga and that she wants to see some significant changes moving forward. Otherwise, she’s out. Here’s what she has to say.
The reality television star says that she’s not sure if her marriage to Joe can survive another couple of years, especially since he’s none too happy with the way she’s taken control of her own life. The couple have been married since 2004 and have three children together: Antonia, 15, Gino, 13, and Joey, 10.

“I don’t want to die unhappy,” Melissa said in a confessional on Wednesday night’s season finale. “I wanna feel fulfilled. Not just as a mom. And I’ve never seen Joe fight so hard against something that I want. o I am feeling really scared about our relationship because I’ve never felt this exhaustion and feeling of giving up.”
Just last month, Melissa was also forced to deny reports that she was faking her marital issues for ratings. Melissa says that’s not the case at all, as she began facing challenges with Joe after realizing that she needed more independence.
Viewers have seen a lot of in-fighting between the couple, suggesting that they are headed towards a divorce or they must be faking things in order to keep the show’s storyline focused on them.
“I was only married for four years before I had been on TV. I don’t think anyone understands, almost my whole married life I am on reality TV,” she explained in an interview with ET Online.
