A second season of MTV’s “The Hills: New Beginnings” has been highly anticipated. Now that original vixen and newly single Kristen Cavallari is confirmed to be on board, fans of the original and the reboot cannot wait!
There are a ton of contradicting rumors out there, but it seems Stephanie Pratt will not be back to spar with her estranged brother Spencer and his wife Heidi.
“The Hills: New Beginnings”: Returning for Season Two…With Kristin Cavallari!
In a loooong Instagram rant Stephanie spouted off against Speidi, called Audrina crazy for her jealousy of Stephanie’s “rock”, Justin Bobby and congratulated MTV on season 2…but all in all it seemed she didn’t want to be apart of it. She is absent from any trailers.
The seemingly one and done new addition, Mischa Barton was rumored to be replaced by Caroline D’Amore. Yeah, we asked WTF that was, too. In March, Mischa responded to the news, writing on Instagram,
“Lol. Where do people get their reporting from? As if anyone would watch @CarolineDAmore try to hoc her boring ass pasta bowls 🍝👀 and greasy pizza on tv. Tried that it was like watching paint dry. 😂 Get the story straight first. @UsWeekly.”
However, Mischa is completely absent from the trailer so maybe Us Weekly did get it right?
We do see that Audrina Patridge will be back to whine about navigate life as a single mom, and that Justin Bobby will continue to sniff around.
Jason Whaler, Whitney Port, Frankie Delgado and Brandon Lee all made it into the trailer but it seems they will continue to take on ‘bit parts’ while Brody Jenner will open up about his divorce with Kailtlynn Carter.
The best part of the trailer of course happened in the closing seconds as Kristin Cavallari, looking like complete and total FIRE struts her way into the show.
Fans should be warned though, that Kristin has made it clear she is making an appearance only and will not be recurring. Get in, cause mess, get out…now that is Very Cavallari of her (you see what I did there?)
One more rumor before we go, and this one doesn’t look very substantiated at all, is that, due to the pandemic, the cast were forced to all live together for the last part of the season!
Hey, we can dream, can’t we?
Season two of The Hills: New Beginnings premieres on Wednesday, May 12 on MTV at 9pm ET.
