‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers find that Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) had a very good week. Not only did she become “Flogan” for a hot minute when the three MacBeth witches, sorry I mean, Logan sisters; Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) and Katie Logan (Heather Tom) legally gave the ex-felon the Logan name, it seems that Flo will exchange her surname once more to Spencer.
Her longtime honey, Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) proposed! Thanks again, Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) for putting all the paperwork together, but it was pretty much for absolutely nothing- something that has increasingly become the theme of B&B lately.
‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Where Have All the (Good) Bad Guys Gone?
Was there any point to Flo changing her last name to Logan if she’s just going to become a Spencer? And why all the build-up to the baby DNA switch if the resolution was just so…blah?
Those of us who aren’t completely jaded just yet are hoping that Bradley Bell and his writing team have something spectacular to come in regards to the mundane plot points we’ve seen lately. However, for every hopeful viewer there are two more that are wondering: where have all the villains gone?
The only thing Felony Flo becoming a Logan proves is that she will be shirking her felonious past for good. Just like when Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) became a Forrester (well, eventually). Even Dollar Bill Spencer‘s (Don Diamont) wicked ways are lying dormant these days.
Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) gave us a decent run, but being a Forrester, it appears the writers were too afraid to really give him the long term villain edit.
Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) hasn’t been jailed yet, but he doesn’t seem to own the smarts to become a formidable baddy and though Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) has been dishing up the dastardly goods, she’s still an amateur compared to villains of the past. So, is it time to bring a past villain back?
We don’t mean Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) who is currently in Genoa City, romancing the elderly. We want a real baddy. Someone like Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) who slunk (not far) away with her tail between her legs to waitress at L.A. restaurant, Il Giardino, perhaps?
Sheila’s style of villainry seems a little outdated for 2021 B&B, though, so what about Ambre Moore (Adrienne Frantz) coming back from…where ever Bell banished her to?
What do you think? Does B&B need to shake things up? If so, who do you want to see come back to the show, or would you prefer one of the current characters to go bad (if so, I choose Finn!)? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below and watch B&B, weekdays on CBS.
