Colton Underwood was left reeling after a series of fans started to grill the former star of The Bachelor about his sex life on an Instagram Q&A session.

Colton, for his part, made significant waves around the internet when he confirmed that he was gay. This is despite the fact that he had dated Tayshia Adams and Cassie Randolph. While supporters may be dying to know how Colton is getting on since his revelations, it looks as though he prefers to dictate things on his own terms. In a post to his fans on Instagram, he said: “Questions like this are inappropriate.
“I understand you might know me from The Bachelor, where I shared a lot about my personal life. I have set boundaries.” So how did Colton take to the questions? Well, given the media interest that has been surrounding Colton, rather personally. Fans wanted to know whether he had hooked up with any men before his bombshell statement.
This was significant because we know he had gotten close to many women before coming out. That was a question that Colton had to consider very carefully, in light of the previous women involved in his life. And initially, he took offence to the boldness of his fans. He added: “People feel the security to ask me questions about my sex life… I’ll share what I want, and this won’t be one of those things.”
That does not mean that Colton will not come clean, though. He is set to partake in a documentary that will be airing on Netflix. This will be an introduction to his journey, which led him to realise that he was gay, and the subsequent hurdles he went through in order to come to terms with that. As part of that process, Colton will keep fans waiting for their answers.
Nevertheless, he did have this to say about his sex life. He continued: “I did experiment with men prior to being on The Bachelorette. When I say ‘hookups,’ not sex. I want to make that very clear that I did not have sex with a man prior to that.”
