Sonja Morgan has revealed how she could no longer restrain her behaviour on the Real Housewives of New York City.

The long-running franchise has thrown up many dramas during the last 12 seasons, and the upcoming new season promises to continue in the same vein. During an interview with the Daily Mail, Sonja spoke about her how partying could no longer be contained. She said: “I’m going to be honest this past season, I was off the rails, and I had a good time.”
Naturally, her drinking caused widespread concern amongst her fellow housewives. There were worries that she could no longer control her tolerance levels, and as such, people began to question whether she had a drinking problem. While this could not be further from the truth, it did not stop one housewife from worrying: Step forward, Ramona Singer.
But rather than call her out, Ramona was just making sure that everything was ok. Sonja added: “Ramona is always looking for something to pick on me for because we’re like sisters. She worries – she gets very anxious about me.” This unusual behaviour can only be explained by the changes that the show is currently experiencing. The pandemic has played a significant part in how the new season is going to be structured.
It will have a much smaller cast than normal, with only five members, but it includes the show’s newest member Eboni K Williams. However, the pandemic has offered the fans something that they would not have seen before. She continued: “Me and Luann and Ramona, we’ve never been closer and more introspective. There was no place for Ramona to run or hide…And it got real. Trust me. It got real.”
And one person who can be expected to turn a few heads is Eboni. Although she is the newest cast member, do not let that fool you. Given that she is an attorney by trade, she does not mince her words. Sonja noted: “Eboni, you know, she’s been cracking the whip and making us understand how to feel other people’s pain and to think about others besides ourselves.”
