Ramona Singer has opened up on how she is getting on like a house on fire with Eboni K. Williams.

The stars of the Real Housewives of New York City have surprisingly got on well ever since Eboni joined the show. There were worries that both of their striking personalities could conflict, but in fact, it has been anything but that. In an interview with Us Weekly, Ramona said: “There’s a lot of similarities between us. We both are self-made.
“We both put ourselves through college. We both speak our mind…She and I were both surprised how well we just clicked together.” So who is Eboni? Well, she is certainly successful in her own right. Not only is she an attorney by trade and therefore well aware of handling difficult situations, but she has also made history in her own little way.
By joining the show, Eboni became the first black member of the Real Housewives of New York. The show, for its part, had been criticised for the lack of diversity that it had on offer. The producers, though, have not regretted bringing her in. Ramona added: “She can get a little tough. … She got tough with me, tough with [Luann de Lesseps], but that’s OK. I can take your tough—[I understand].
“I’m not going to welcome you just to welcome you. I have to like you.” But like all relationships, there are periods when things do start to get heated. This was most visible in an episode in which Romana and Eboni came to loggerheads over Ramona’s treatment of Eboni’s staff. Although there was no malice on Ramona’s part, her decision to not refer to Eboni’s staff by their names did peeve Eboni off.
After having a heart to heart, the two managed to sort it out and move forward. She continued: “What I said was, ‘I can’t remember the names of the people who help me.’… We had a conversation about it…and I’m happy for that because I love learning. Life is about learning, always growing.”
