The star of the Real Housewives of New York City could have been forgiven for being a little reserved, knowing that Tinsley has been struggling to come to terms with the end of the relationship. And yet, she was anything but that. During an interview on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Leah said: “I’m happy that Tinsley is free and she dodged a bullet.”
Leah was understandably aggrieved by how Scott had handled the whole issue. Tinsley is her friend, and loyalties are hard to brush aside. While Tinsley has since exited the show, they clearly have a bond that goes beyond the cameras. She added: “[I do not want] anything too bad [for Scott]. [However], he had no regard for her feelings or her life.”
The main reason why this relationship has left such a bad taste in the mouth was due to how much Tinsley had invested in it. She decided to leave the housewives franchise in order to relocate to Chicago, on the assumption that she was going, to settle down with Scott. Fast forward 14 months later, they ended up going their separate ways.
Tinsley was left feeling high and dry. In a statement given at the time of this split, Scott did not hold back on how he had moved on. He said: “After fourteen months of engagement, Tinsley and I have ended our relationship, and we have been living independently for the last few months…I believe [this] is best for both of us.”
The ending was hard to take. Tinsley had been together with Scott for matter of 4 years. But now that she has broken up with Scott, is there a possibility that Tinsley could be making a return to the franchise?
There has been nothing coming out from the producers in that regard, but Leah would love the prospect of being able to reunite with her close friend. She continued: “She left New York and gave up so much to be with him, and I would love for her to come back, and I hope she does.”
