These two just can’t let go, now can they? There’s a new report that says Prince William and Prince Harry – who both have had an ongoing feud for several years now – insist on doing separate speeches at the Princess Diana statue unveiling, which will take place on July 1st, the same day that would have been her 60th birthday. Here’s what you need to know.

According to Page Six, William and Harry want to do things their separate ways, signaling that they might not put on a united front, as many royal fans are hoping for.

The royal brothers, who have been feuding ever since Harry and Meghan pulled the plug on their relationship with the royal family – have no intentions of putting their differences aside on a day that is supposed to be all about their mother.

One source close to the situation told Britain’s The Sun, “The brothers will be physically together for the ceremony but want to make their own personal addresses. ou might have thought they’d go for a joint statement and speech but that’s not the case. Each has insisted on preparing their own.”

This comes as a separate report suggests the British monarchy might be nearing its endgame. Dame Hilary Mantel thinks Britain’s royal family is likely nearing its end and will probably not outlast Prince William’s reign as King of England. She told the Telegraph in a new interview, “I think it’s the end game. I don’t know how much longer the institution will go on.”

Dame Hilary added, “I’m not sure if it will outlast William. So I think it will be their last big era.”
