NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) has been problematic for a long time. And we really believe it might be time for Abe Carver (James Reynolds) to find a new DA. Because there are so many reasons why this woman should not be in this position. Let’s take a look at her history here, as well as how she’s completely failing right now.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Hypocrite
First, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal she’s a hypocrite and a questionable person. Despite getting into this field and being all high and mighty with people, she was not only hiding Haley Chen’s (Thia Megia) immigration status, but she wasn’t very nice about it at times, either. Plus, she kept the truth she’s Haley’s mom to herself far too long.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Biased
Obviously, the truth came out—as it tends to do on these shows—and things changed a bit. She and Haley started building a relationship. However, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal Haley died during the lost time and this is where Trask lost her way even more.
She was clearly not being unbiased and professional when Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) ended up on the Salem PD’s radar again. Her connection to Kristen should have disqualified her from handling the case, but she insisted she could keep it together.
Except she couldn’t, and it led to more shady ethics in her quest to catch Kristen. Like blackmailing Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) into getting that confession. But now? We think she’s taking it up a notch.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Seriously?
We have to say we really don’t like people like Trask. You know, the kind of law enforcement officer that is so desperate to get someone convicted, they almost don’t care if they have the right person.
Look at how she’s handling the situation with Belle Black (Martha Madison). She knew getting that tape from Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) office was not exactly on the up-and-up. But she did it anyway.
And on the word of someone like Jan Spears (Heather Lindell). Sure, she couldn’t know at this point Jan wasn’t in a coma when Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) died. But she does know there’s a history between Jan and Belle.
In fact, she even brought up how Jan should be locked up, too, but there was that deal with Belle. The fact this woman kidnapped someone on their wedding day and tried to force the groom to marry her should show this girl will do anything to hurt Belle.
Trask should definitely be a bit more cautious in taking Jan seriously, but we’ll see if things change after that scene Jan made at the police station. We sort of doubt it, though.
Again, this case has been one dead-end after another, and we don’t think Trask likes looking the fool. So, it’s very possible she’ll keep pushing, despite Jan’s behavior Thursday.
