Kim Zolciak Is Focusing On New Projects Following Her Stint On Don’t Be Tardy
Kim could be forgiven for feeling a little down after having been on the show for eight seasons, and yet, it has been anything but that. While she had many fond memories of the show, all things must come to an end. And this show was no exception. A source told Us Weekly that Kim is looking forward to the future: “Kim’s not sad.
“Yes, it’s emotional because of how long her family filmed the show and all the memories they created, but she sees this as a positive change. She feels like she’s finally free.” It was not only just the new start that she wanted. Kim felt that the show had ended on a natural conclusion. On closer inspection, it is easy to understand why.
Kim had opened herself up to the world, most notably by giving an exclusive insight into her wedding with Kroy Biermann. As their relationship played out on screen, it became clear that things were not going to be so easy, knowing that her public life was playing out on camera. Not only that, her children had grown up rapidly since the first episode had aired.
So there were not many angles left for the producers of the show to focus on. The source added: “It really was perfect timing because there wasn’t much else to film in terms of storylines.” But rather than take an extended hiatus, Kim is focused on other projects. She confirmed that Biermann Bunch would be returning, and her kids were also going to be taking part.
By all accounts, her eldest daughters (Brielle and Ariana) are likely to take on a more prominent role. The two have come a long way since their time on Don’t Be Tardy. This is just the start, though, as Kim is keeping fans guessing with her other ventures.
The source continued: “She’s working on other stuff and working on another concept for a show. It’s more than the Biermann Bunch — she has other things in the works.”
