Elon Musk appeared on ‘Saturday Night Live’ for the first time and it went off pretty well according to most. Not knowing what they were in for, most viewers weren’t sure what to expect from Musk, but according to comments and the “general consensus”, most people liked him.
Except those who bought up a bunch of Dogecoin before the show started. In Musk’s monologue, he poked fun at himself and even joked about not being a “normal chill dude” while explaining he’s the first host with Aspergers and saying he’s a robot.

However, one of the things that most people are pointing out is that he brought his mother up towards the end for a few more jokes. She did surprisingly well and together they had some funny jokes to end the monologue before Elon told her that he loved her.
Outside of ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ and Twitter, this may have been a lot of people’s first introduction to Elon and it’s exactly what it seems like. He’s a strange guy who is a genius and wants to send people to Mars. He was evidently pretty aware of this as well and worked it into his act.
Viewers commented on his monologue, “Idk why but I felt so proud of him when he pulled this off”, “He did much better than I expected. I felt like he was comfortably himself.”, “When he said he has Asperger’s, suddenly everything he’s done before and after suddenly makes sense.”, “Makes a joke bout being a robot still 100 million times more natural than seeing Mark Zuckerberg testifying” and “He genuinely looked like he was having a blast. Good for him!”
