Donald Trump had been banned on several social media platforms, leading to surrogates posting his thoughts for him. However, he seems to be tired of the charade and has created his own “communication platform” he’s called ‘From the Desk of Donald J. Trump’.
This gets around his social media bans by allowing followers to share his posts on Twitter and Facebook. He unveiled the website where only he can upload content and doesn’t let users interact.
He also teased to supporters that they will be ‘very, very happy’ when he makes his decision to run for the White House again.
Donald Trump Has Launched A New Website For Followers To Share His Posts To Twitter And Facebook
When users sign up for alerts they are directed to a page asking for campaign donations.
As of Tuesday night, he has only posted one video and a collection of recent statements.
“The answer is, I’m absolutely enthused. I look forward to doing an announcement at the right time. As you know, it’s really early. But I think people are going to be very, very happy when I make a certain announcement,” Trump told conservative host Candace Owens on her show, teasing his 2024 presidential bid.
Left, right, or center, there is a feeling that banning him from social media wasn’t right, especially considering what a lot of other people post on there as well.
It is kind of hilarious that he has followed through on his comments to make his “own social media”. While it’s not a platform we probably imagined in our minds, he now has his own space and will allow others to share it on social media.
What do you think? Should he be allowed back on social media? Let us know in the comments below.
