‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Olivia Rose Keegan (ex-Claire Brady) is Heading Back to High School and Showing Off Her Singing Chops.

‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers find that fans haven’t seen Olivia Rose Keegan on their screens as Claire Brady since August of 2020, but fans of the chanteuse will soon be able to catch up with her in season two of Disney+’s High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.

Keegan will portray a freshman at East High named Lily. Lily is said to hide her insecurity and competitive nature behind a sweet demeanor.

Keegan, who won the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Young Performer in a Drama Series in 2020 showed off her singing voice a little on Days of Our Lives, but will really be able to belt it out now.

Keegan will be in good company on the second season of the series. Roman Banks, who understudied the lead role in Dear Evan Hansen on Broadway also joins the season two cast. Banks plays Howie, a studious high school junior who works at the local pizza parlor.

Dancing sensation Derek Hough will also join the series as Zack, a drama teacher at East High’s biggest rival, North High. Oh, and Zack also happens to be drama teacher, Miss Jenn’s (Kate Reinders) ex-boyfriend. The pair run into each other on the first episode of season 2 at the stroke of midnight.

High School Musical: The Musical: The Series is an offshoot of the wildly popular High School Musical movies which shot stars Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale to fame.

Soap alums Corbin Bleu (Jeffrey King, One Life to Live) and Chris Warren (Jimmy Ramirez, The Bold and the Beautiful) also became household names thanks to the franchise which has spawned endless, international movies, live stage shows and television spin-offs.

Season one’s High School Musical: The Musical: The Series MVP, Olivia Rodrigo of Gen-Z anthem ‘Drivers License’ fame also returns as Nini for season two, premiering on Disney+ on May 14.
