‘Days of our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers find that fans had to laugh along with Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) today when she put 2 and 2 together to realize that if Jan finally fulfilled her life-long dream of locking down the object of her obsession, Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer), she would become none other than Jan Brady.
Of course, Jan Spears is no one’s middle child, but she shouldn’t expect her evil plot to frame Shawn’s actual wife, Belle Black Brady (Martha Madison) for the murder of Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) to be all smooth sailing.

Already Belle has deduced that a woman in a coma shot Charlie. We’re not sure many others, including D.A. Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) will come to the same conclusion, so Belle along with her husband and parents, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) will do everything to prove Belle’s theory.
Of course, Belle is right, and fans are looking forward to seeing how Jan managed to commit murder while being comatose. Now, head writer Ron Carlivati has revealed we can look forward to some major action as the walls do close in on Jan’s latest dastardly scheme, as well!
Carlivati has teased that as her ruse begins to crumble and Jan spirals, she will take a hostage- and inadvertently end up with two!
It hasn’t been revealed just who these hostages are yet, but in parallel news, Carlivati is also hinting at Claire Brady’s (Isabel Durant) and Ben Weston’s (Robert Scott Wilson) bond strengthening as Claire helps Ben to not travel down the same drunken path as heartbroken Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer).
Hints Carlivati, “Claire is there for [Ben] when Ciara leaves. Will that comfort lead to anything romantic between these two? I think the audience knows the endgame is Ben and Ciara.
Obviously, if Ben turns to Claire, that will be a complication and I don’t want to say too much about whether they’re going to act on this or not. You will have to wait and see and have a little faith in your favorite couple.”
They say stressful situations bring people together- being held hostage would sure count as stressful. Ben could just ask Ciara about that…if Claire’s face isn’t attached to his, that is!
