If there’s one thing that we’ve learned about Chrissy Teigen over the years, it’s that she certainly can’t keep a secret. The former model recently opened up about her new friendship with Meghan Markle and how she would love to spend more one-on-one time with the Duchess of Sussex. Here’s what she has to say.
According to ET Online, Chrissy was on hand for the Vax Life Concert, which took place in Inglewood, Calif. Both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were there as well as they were co-chairs for the event.
Chrissy Teigen Confirms She Is Good Friends With Meghan Markle
While Meghan was not at the concert, Prince Harry was there and made an impassioned speech about vaccinations and hopefully moving forward from the pandemic.
And now Chrissy says that she can’t wait to become even better friends with the Sussexes.
“I feel like our world has just gotten so small, through this whole pandemic and everything,” she said. “We have to go to Montecito and chill in the chicken house. Archie’s Cluckin’ Hut?”
Chrissy also had nothing but positive things to say about the royal couple.
“They’re so wonderful for co-chairing this,” Teigen added of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. “This is obviously such an incredibly important event that I’m so happy to be a part of.”
As far as the pandemic, Chrissy says that she just wants everyone to help get over it already.
“We want to tell people to get vaccinated, plain and simply, this event is just something to celebrate not only these frontline workers that are able to come see and watch this event, but also be able to tell people to get this vaccine and that it’s safe and it’s something that is going to let us get back to our normal lives,” the social media queen shares, adding, “and we can hug people again and kiss and cook food and have brunch and do the silly things we miss so much. It’s a step toward that.”
