CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are set for another run through Genoa City, and it looks like things could be leveling off to the usual limping along storyline.
But first, they have to get a kidney to tie up some loose ends.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For April 5: Adam’s choice
With everything going on, it looks like Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is going to have a decision to make.
Given how this show loves crafting perfect moments, we think Adam’s going to be in a dream state where he’ll see his past and his possible future.
He’ll be given the choice of returning to life and become a hero but with a difficult journey, or death and have his suffering end.
It’ll be a crossroads moment for him that’ll allow us to see if he’s really serious about turning things around and becoming a new and better person.
This could be a stretch, but it feels like something that could happen give they’ve had ghosts appear in dreams and dying people seeing their passed away loved ones so we get to say goodbye.
And given Adam’s buried under a stack of rubble from the house collapsing, this seems like the only storyline available for the circumstances to ‘Young and the Restless’.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For April 5: Nikki delivers some news
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will be this episode’s messenger, and she’s going to give Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) some unexpected news.
What news she could have is wide open for debate, but we expect it’ll have to do with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) finding and flying in a specialist to help.
Maybe even a donor with Adam still unaccounted for.
Or, since they got the door close to being opened, maybe Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) managed to get a call out for help and they’re rushing Adam to the hospital.
Sharon will think Nick did something to Adam and Nikki will set her straight, and report that Adam may not survive, so they’ll rush his kidney’s there for a transplant.
It may be morbid, but it’d be an interesting storyline with Adam helping Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) from his deathbed.
It’ll be the ultimate character redemption for him and he’ll be the martyr Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) can browbeat his other children and enemies with to prove his points and make them feel guilty.
