The star has had pregnancy issues in the past, as signified when she suffered a miscarriage last year. This time around, she had other issues to deal with. In a post to her fans on Instagram, we can see a picture of Scheana cuddling her daughter alongside Brock Davies. The post was captioned by the following comments: “We welcomed to the world Summer, Moon Honey Davies.

“Almost 24 hours after being induced, my blood pressure was extremely elevated. I was diagnosed with preeclampsia, which has now turned into HELLP syndrome.” So how serious was it? Well, it could have been critical if the doctors had not been able to intervene. Scheana was reportedly diagnosed with preeclampsia. This can lead to extreme levels of high blood pressure and potential damage to the organs such as the liver and kidney.

As a result, any baby would require immediate delivery. But the due diligence of the doctors avoided a major catastrophe. She added: “My doctor said I was lucky, and we caught this just in time to treat [it].” Despite the good news, Scheana is not out of the woods just yet. She has been bedridden in the aftermath of the pregnancy and suffering extreme tiredness.

Added to that, she admitted to having flu-like symptoms. This does not offer any confidence in light of the current ‘virus’ world we live in. That is why Scheana is being wrapped in cotton wool. She continued: “I am still being monitored closely for elevated liver enzymes and low blood platelets and not sure how much longer we will be here.” This has not stopped her from staying positive, though.

She was ecstatic at the prospect of a baby as she went into labour, and this enthusiasm has only gotten stronger. And she signed off her post by thanking all those who had wished her well. She noted: “Thank you to everyone who has reached out and sent their love and thank you to the amazing staff here at Cedars-Sinai.” It is great to see the couple being so happy, and long may that continue.
