Every now and again, an anime will go through a reboot. While some may end up flopping, those that do well should be celebrated. It is not easy to reinvent something again. So here are our top five reboots you should check out.
Hunter x Hunter 2011
We are introduced to Gon Freecss, who is a hunter that takes it to the next level. He is adept and ready at hand to take down whoever stands in his way of finding new treasures. But he has not seen his father, nor does he know his whereabouts.
In order to find him, he takes it upon himself to hone his skills and pass the notorious ‘Hunter exams.’ On his journey, he is joined by three of his friends, Kurapika, Leorio, and Killua. Will they be able to overcome new monsters, and will Gon find his father?

Fruits Basket 2019

Ushio & Tora 2015
The main character, Ushio comes across a demon who happens to be in his basement. His father had warned him that such things existed, but Ushio hardly took notice of it. So when he is faced with the unthinkable, he must decide what to do.
The demon passes him by, but not before they form an unexpected alliance. In exchange for Usio letting the demon go, they team up to take on other supernatural forces.Â

Higurashi: When They Cry 2020
The audience comes across Keiichi, who lives in an idyllic village by the name of Hinamizawa. The village is getting ready for their upcoming Watanagashi festival to mark their God. The festival went ahead as planned, but something was amiss.
Keiichi could not quite put his finger on it, but with time, he discovers something significant. Numerous people, who had attended the festival, were either killed or went missing.

Dororo 2019
This is a heart-wrenching story of Hyakkimaru, who was born with significant deformities. It was not his fault but as a result of his father. The latter had made a deal with some demons, who would offer him wealth in exchange for someone’s limbs.
Once the wealth was offered and the event transpired, Hyakkimaru was abandoned. To regain his body, he must face those demons and overcome them at all costs.Â
