‘The Young And The Restless (Y&R)’ spoilers show that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is looking pretty selfless right now, after pulling Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) from her car wreck and risking his freedom to take her to the emergency room.

However, with everyone thinking he might have just done a good thing, some viewers think Adam is sneakier than that and is just playing his cards right.

‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Was Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) Being A Good Samaritan Or Playing His Cards Right?

What if Adam knew that saving pulling over and saving Faith would definitely get him on Sharon Rosales’ (Sharon Case) good side and she couldn’t ignore him after that, thus creating the perfect chance for him to contact her and plea for help.

Viewers are pointing out that if he truly cared about Faith and what happened, he wouldn’t immediately look for a handout from Sharon. I can see how they would think that, and while I’m currently wanting Adam to get the redemption story I think he deserves, this does feel like a calculated move.

On the flipside, people have pointed out there’s no way he could have known it was Faith before pulling over to help, and it truly was an act of selflessness. Of course, unless he knows the truck from the ranch. It is from his father’s farm, so he may have assumed it was someone he knew.

I can honestly see this going either way, and we’ll have to wait to see what he says to Sharon when they inevitably meet up.

What do you think? Do you think Adam did this out of the kindness of his heart or is there a more calculating man behind the cards? Let us know in the comments below.
