Ashley Cain, who is best known from The Challenge, has sadly announced the passing of his daughter Azaylia.
‘The Challenge’: Ashley Cain Announces The Passing Of His Daughter-‘I Will Always Hold You In My Heart’
Azaylia had been plagued by her battle with Leukemia, but the disease had gotten the best of her. In a post to his fans on Instagram, we can see a picture of Ashely holding his daughter. The post was captioned by the following comments: “Rest In Paradise Princess. I will always hold you in my heart until I can hold you again in heaven.” And the tributes continued to pour out as Ashley’s girlfriend followed in the same way.
Safiyya Vorajee, who had so often been Ashley’s source of strength, also broke down with sadness. In a post on her Instagram, she is holding Azaylia tightly as any mother would do. The post simply said: “You are my Angel, my heartbeat, my soul. RIP my precious baby, you will always be with me like a handprint on my heart.” But for all the pain, it was only a matter of time before Azaylia passed.
Ashley had been very vocal about her struggles. Azaylia had recovered from Leukemia on one occasion, and things looked to be on the up. In fact, the family were looking to put it behind them until the disease resurfaced. At the time, Ashley posted an Instagram video detailing just how much pain he felt.
He commented: “Today was supposed to be a day of unquestionable happiness. However, it turned out like most days on this journey…We got urgently informed that Azaylia’s Leukemia had returned.” And the disease continued to get progressively worse. The parents had done all that they could to treat Azaylia. But the writing was on the wall just this month when Ashley confirmed the worst.
On his Instagram post, he revealed how his daughter’s days were limited. He said: “They [doctors] think she’s only got one, two days to live.” Ashley and Safiyya will need all the help of their family to keep them strong. Such an event is impossible to forget, but if they do not take their time to heal from this, then it could become a whole lot worse.
