Prince Harry is going through a lot as he arrived in the UK for Prince Philip’s funeral.
Prince Harry Worried About Meghan Markle After Flying To The UK For Prince Philip’s Funeral
The primary concern for Harry has been the fact that his wife, Meghan Markle, has been ordered by her doctors to stay in the US. Meghan, after all, is pregnant with a baby on the way. An insider said: “He’s already really missing Meghan and Archie and has been FaceTiming them every day to check in. He actually speaks to Meghan a few times a day because he worries [about] leaving her when she’s so far along in her pregnancy.”
It is not surprising that Meghan has stayed behind. She is hardly going to receive a warm welcome in light of her interview that recently aired on CBS. The allegations of racism directed at her son Archie are not going to disappear over a funeral. Not only that, Meghan is all too aware of having difficulties in pregnancy. We only have to back as far as 2020, when she tragically suffered a miscarriage.
So with that in mind, Harry is right to feel a little anxious. But that has not stopped him from attending the funeral. Queen Elizabeth II had made it perfectly clear that Harry was welcome to attend, and in keeping with that, Harry left an emotional tribute for his late grandfather. In an official statement, he said: “My grandfather was a man of service, honour and great humour.
“He will be remembered as the longest-reigning consort to the Monarch, a decorated serviceman, a Prince and a Duke…He was my grandpa: master of the barbecue, legend of banter, and cheeky right ‘til the end.” Unlike Prince Charles, Harry always had a great relationship with Philip. As well as that, Meghan held Philip in high regard too. While that may have changed since her interview, it did not stop Meghan from remembering him.
Harry added: “Meghan, Archie, and I (as well as your future great-granddaughter) will always hold a special place for you in our hearts.” And yet, his passing may present an opportunity to finally patch up those grievances with his father. With the Royal family in mourning, now would be the perfect time to bury the hatchet.
