Meghan Markle might want to turn off the television and stay off of social media for at least 48 hours for this one. Outspoken critics of the Duchess, Piers Morgan and Tucker Carlson, are about to engage in what can only be called a hate fest against her.
They have taped a special about her interview with Oprah Winfrey, her time at Buckingham Palace, and how Piers Morgan lost his job with Good Morning Britain simply because he refused to apologize to her. Talk about a man scorned. Here’s what you need to know.
Piers Morgan And Tucker Carlson Are About To Have A Hate Fest Against Meghan Markle In New Special
For those who think Piers Morgan is done talking about all things Meghan Markle, you might want to think again. He and the Fox News host have taped an hour-long special for two of the Fox personality’s shows, Tucker Carlson Today and Tucker Carlson Tonight on Monday, April 5. And yes, you can expect a lot of Meghan bashing from two men who clearly have a problem with her. What that problem is, we might never know.
Piers lost his job with Good Morning Britain when he said that he would not apologize to Meghan after he said he didn’t believe her claims that she had experienced suicidal thoughts while she was still a full-time working royal.
Shortly after ITV let him go, Piers wrote, “Those of you that know me well enough know that, despite my many faults, I’m always willing to stand my ground for the things that I think matter most. And now I’ve lost my job at Good Morning Britain because I chose not to apologise for disbelieving Meghan Markle’s claims in her interview with Oprah Winfrey.”
Mental health charity Mind said it was “disappointed” by his comments and Ofcom launched an investigation into the matter after receiving over 41,000 complaints, which led to Piers’ ousting.
