Say it baby, one more time. Britney Spears is finally ready to tell her side of the story. According to new reports, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Brenda Penny scheduled a hearing on June 23 to allow the pop star to speak on the “status of the conservatorship.”

Britney has previously made her feelings about the court-ordered conservatorship known through her lawyer Samuel Ingham, including last year, when he said she was scared of her father and would not perform again while he controlled her life.

Britney has been making headlines because of her conservatorship ever since the documentary Framing Britney Spears put a spotlight on the matter. The doc has given a voice to Britney’s fans, most who have raised questions about whether the court’s orders have been in her best interests.
Britney herself hasn’t made many comments about the issue, but she did say that the documentary did make her feel embarrassed.
“I didn’t watch the documentary but from what I did see of it I was embarrassed by the light they put me in,” she wrote. “I cried for two weeks and well …. I still cry sometimes!!!!”
Britney Spears has made it clear that she no long wants her father, Jamie Spears, to act as her conservator. Whether or not that happens, remains to be seen.
