’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers indicate that when Andrew Kenton and Amira Lollysa decided that they would bypass TSA restrictions, quarantine in Mexico for 14 days and then go to the US, they didn’t have any idea that the Mexican authorities had other ideas.
They thought that this would go smoothly and they’d be having a little pre-honeymoon honeymoon and that they’d be back on their way to Roseville, California, Andrew’s hometown, at the end of two weeks. Easy peasy, right? Nope, because Mexico stepped up their game and decided to make things that much more difficult. Amira is stuck in a detention center for who knows how long and Andrew is on their non-honeymoon honeymoon down in Cancun by himself.

When his Mom and sister called though, I honestly expected more of a reaction but what I saw was a bit disenheartening. When Andrew told them that Amira had gotten detained in Mexico City, both of them let out an almost ecstatic “Oh no!”, if they were showing any empathy at all toward Andrew it didn’t really show. In fact, that was possibly the most reactionless ‘reaction’ I’ve ever seen.
I’ve gotten the feeling that his Mom was a bit less than enthused about this relationship from the start, but now, I think his sister is right with Mom when it comes to her opinion. I think they think this whole undertaking is a bit too much trouble.
Especially when Andrew’s sister piped up with “Well, if the Mexican authorities put her on a plane back to France then she’ll just have to do what they tell her to do.” I’m sorry Madam but I do not like your tone.
Poor Andrew is visibly upset and its understandable. Given what we know about detention centers, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, no one wants to be in a detention center, especially not during a pandemic! There are legit sick people there with this virus and Amira, in my opinion, stands more of a chance of getting infected from being in one of those places than she does in a hotel room with Andrew where things are relatively clean and taken care of.
(Things are not so well taken care of at detention centers, to my understanding.) I feel so bad for her, we still haven’t heard from her yet so we don’t exactly know what she’s going through. We’re with Andrew, we’re hoping that tomorrow is definitely different from today. Meanwhile, Lori, Connie, you two could stand to… I don’t know… frown when you’re upset. Stay tuned!!!
