90 Day Fiancé cast member, Jonathan Rivera, recently made the announcement that he was engaged to Janelle Miller. On March 28, he made a bigger announcement to all of his fans. He posted on Facebook, “We’ve been keeping a little secret. We will be welcoming our first child, our son, in August! We love him so much already, we couldn’t be more excited.”
’90 Day Fiancé’: Jonathan and Janelle’s Relationship
Back in June of 2020, while we were all deep in quarantine, Jonathan announced that he and Janelle were engaged. He called it, “the easiest decision I’ve ever made.” In May of 2019, Jonathan and Janelle first made their relationship public and fans were shocked how quickly he moved on from his ex-wife, Fernanda Flores.
In March of 2020, Flores made a very bold statement when she posted on her Instagram about her divorce being final. She wrote, “Officially single! By forgiving and closing chapters you open your heart to more blessings to come in your way.”
When Jonathan and Fernanda called it quits, he spoke out saying, “I have a lot going on and so in the midst of all the craziness, I try to focus on what’s important.” Many fans though that he was talking about his new girlfriend when he made this statement.
He wrote, “She moved to Chicago to pursue a modeling career. Decided to leave and realized she couldn’t do it on her own. She said MANY things you can’t take back that I won’t mention, you’ll have to trust me when I tell you, good luck. She decided to leave. Left me on the airplane in Cicago amonst many other things. I decided to spend the rest of the time with my family. When she realized her lifestyle was going to be different, she wanted to apologize.”
It did seem as if there was quite a bit of drama between the couple from the very start of their journey on 90 Day Fiancé. Fernanda accused Jonathan many times of cheating and they just seemed unstable together.
We are happy that they have found happiness elsewhere and now that Jonathan is expecting a son, thingfs in his life are just about to become a bit crazier. We wish the couple the best and hope for a happy, safe and healthy birth.
