Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is single-handedly responsible for the new truck emoji existing. Johnson has gotten a blue pickup truck emoji, not just for himself, but for the world due to several posts where he would write, “insert nonexistent pickup truck emoji here.”
Apparently, with his enormous following and so many eyes on him, it alerted those who have control over what emojis make it through, and he finally got a truck emoji.
He posted the news on his Instagram page with the following caption and a funny video you can check out by using the link below,
“Sometimes you have to speak things into existence ??
I (and the world ?) needed a truck emoji.
It did not exist.
Until now.
Ladies & gents – I give you, the NEW ROCK TRUCK EMOJI ??

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Is The Reason For The New Blue Truck Emoji
The video plays on the silliness of the whole thing and makes it seem like Johnson is part of some secret organization that pushes emojis through to the public.
It’s a funny joke that became a reality as Ford Motor Company rallied behind the petitions for a pickup truck emoji. It may have taken a few years, but they did it, they finally accomplish what they set out to do. The brand new pickup truck emoji is there and ready to be used.
He immediately shared the new truck emoji three times on Twitter, much to the delight of everyone. Some still may not be able to see it, and I think it’s because of iPhone / Android thing, but I’m sure everything will be worked out soon.
