Univision Vencer el desamor Spoilers: Thoughts on the Gran Final and what’s ahead

Univision Vencer el desamor spoilers reveal the show has come to an end. But we had one more episode to enjoy Tuesday night. Let’s take a look at a few favorite moments, a slight low-point, and why we’re looking forward to what’s next for the franchise.

Univision Vencer el desamor Spoilers: The good

First off, Vencer el desamor spoilers reveal the show did not disappoint when it came to villanos getting theirs and happy endings. Watching Eduardo Falcón Albarrán (Juan Diego Covarrubias) hauled away for his scheme was a high point, as well as watching Lino Ferrer (Marco Treviño) finally behind bars where he belongs.

As for the others, we loved that Bárbara Albarrán vda. de Falcón (Daniela Romo) not only learned her lesson and accepted the other women, but she also got to fulfill her dream of going to Paris.

We also loved that, as Lino’s game unraveled once and for all, Bárbara finally understood Joaquín Falcón Ruiz’s (José Elías Moreno) behavior before he died and accepted he was trying to protect them all.

It was also great to see her admit to being a hypocrite for all her judgements, especially against Ariadna López Hernández (Claudia Álvarez), as she was about to ask for a divorce before she walked in and found Joaquín dead.

Also, it was nice to see the family finally getting the condo project together as they moved on with new loves. Not to mention, Ariadna getting the recognition she deserved for cracking the Lino case.

Univision Vencer el desamor Spoilers: The bad

As with Vencer el miedo, there was one low point for us. Well, two. First, the one relating to the previous installment of this franchise. Much like Miedo, this one ended with all four female leads giving mocking examples of the things men (and sometimes women) say to other women.

This one even included the characters giving their response to the statements. It’s a bit heavy-handed, in our opinion. However, we guess the one bright spot is, they keep the hit-you-over-the-head stuff for the end, and they’re quick about it.

The rest of the two shows were far more about the writing and entertainment value than the messaging, even if it did include some. Most of the series, it was more subtle.

Also, we call foul on Gemma Corona Albarrán (Valentina Buzzurro) going through everything she did, only to lose her baby in the end. That was definitely a downer ending for her story, and we think she deserved better.

We also think it was a bit much to have that happen in the final episode. If they were going to do it, they should have had it happen earlier. That could have been a much better arc for her and we think it needed more time to be handled right.

Univision Vencer el desamor Spoilers: The future

So, Vencer el Desamor spoilers reveal this was the second in what we’re seeing will be a trilogy of stories. The next one is called Vencer el Pasado, so stay tuned for more info on it as it becomes available.

What we do know is, Angelique Boyer will be part of the cast. While we hated her character in Imp, she’s a great actress. And she rocked her role in Amar a Muerte, so we’re expecting some great stuff from her in the next, and final, installment.
