‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers find that fans are worried about what will happen with their favorite character, Steffy now that portrayer Jacqueline is on maternity leave. After all, the hottest storyline on our screens is currently the baby-daddy fiasco involving Steffy, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Dr. John ‘Finn’ Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).
So, how will the B&B writers possibly be able to continue the drama without Steffy on our screens? Easy- keep Steffy on our screens!
No, don’t start calling the Actor’s Equity Association and start picketing on Jacqueline’s behalf. The actress is getting her maternity leave. In fact, Jacqueline is currently no longer on set. The Canadian actress gave birth to second son, Lenix with husband Elan Ruspoli, on February 21.
‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: What’s Going to Happen to Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood)?
However, according to Soap Opera Digest, a spokesperson for the long running L.A. based soap explained, “Wood pre-taped scenes so her character’s absence will not be too noticeable on screen.”
While this is good news, it still leaves us with a lot of questions and the understanding that, though she might not disappear completely, Steffy won’t be seen on screen as much as she currently is.
Rumors have swirled of Steffy running off to Paris (like the last time Jacqueline took maternity leave) to be with mother, Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo) after Brooke’s attacks get too harsh and Steffy’s stress levels get too high. This still could be the case with the pre-taped scenes showing Steffy making international calls back to California.
Perhaps Steffy’s stress keeps her in L.A. but she is prescribed bed rest. If daughter, Kelly’s magical bedroom is anything to go by, Steffy will be very content and barely seen or heard in her own room..
Maybe the DNA switch will simply involve Finn and Vincent Walker (Joe LoCicero) facing off for a while yet- the sneak peek of what to come between the two men has already been teased this week on the show.
Whatever the situation, the good news is fans won’t lose Steffy and the bady-daddy plot completely. For that we say, thank you Mr. Bell!
Watch all the drama continue to unfold as B&B airs weekdays on CBS!
