They told Us Weekly just how much they were enjoying the moment. They said: “It feels amazing! We’ve been waiting for this moment for so long, and it’s finally happened. All the stress of having a wedding is lifted off our shoulders.” The wedding, though, was a long time on the cards. It had been cancelled numerous times due to the uncertainty caused by the pandemic.
The stress of it all raised the question of whether it would actually go ahead. The wedding was scheduled to take place last year before those plans had to be scrapped. In a statement at the time, the couple said: “We were very much looking forward to celebrating our wedding with a small group of close friends and family this December, but due to COVID-19, we had to make the difficult but necessary decision to postpone until May 2021.”
They continued to remain close friends following the conclusion of the show, and the sparks ultimately led them to marriage. They added: “This day could not have been more perfect. Yes, it was daunting and stressful to have to move the wedding so many times, but at the end of the day, we are so happy with how everything came together and are excited for our next chapter.”
And things have continued to get better with the news that they are expecting their first child together. Nicole had announced her pregnancy in January this year, and the duo celebrated the news in an intimate manner. In the picture, we can see the two taking things easy as they lie next to each other. Nicole is surrounded by various forms of junk food: pickles, beverages, crisps, peanut butter and pizza.
The image was captured with the following comments: “Nic + Vic = our lil’ sidekick. We are SO excited to announce that we are PREGNANT! We feel so blessed & grateful.” It is good to see the two having such happiness. With a child on the way, things could not be any better at all.
