Kris Jenner has opened up on how she had no clue over finances, during her marriage with the ,now, deceased Robert Kardashian.

In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, Kris revealed how this had suddenly dawned on her during the divorce process. She said: “One day, my friend Shelli Azoff said to me when I was going through my divorce [from Kardashian], ‘How much is your gardener?’ And I said, ‘I don’t know.’ And she said, ‘You don’t know?” That is what made Kris re-evaluate her whole life.
And with hindsight, it worked a treat as she is hardly short of any cash these days. Not only that, her kids have all made lucrative business decisions in their own right. It has been this savvy financial planning that has led to the Jenner’s being so successful. She added: “I woke up one day to responsibilities that I hadn’t had the day before. And I needed to figure it out.
“I felt such an enormous sense of accomplishment to be able to figure it all out and pay my own bills and make my own money and do my own taxes.” The finances, though, were not the reason for the divorce. Rather it was the familiar stories of infidelity and the fact that the two were still working things out given that they wed at such an early age.
During an interview on the InCharge podcast, Kris stated: “[We] got married at 22. Sooner or later, during my life, when I was in my 30s, I had an affair, and my biggest regret was the fact that it broke up my family. It was my turn to really grow up.” As Keeping up with the Kardashians is ending, does Kris have any regrets at all?
Not likely, as it seems she has already got her eyes focused on the next big business opportunity. She continued: “I’m interested in different ways that people make money — and in what’s happening around the world. And I’m interested in different businesses and how they evolve and how they become successful. I just enjoy the business world.”
