It looks like Jennifer Lopez’s rumoured split with Alex Rodriguez has upset her children and it has even led to some tears.
Jennifer Lopez’s Daughter Sheds Tears Amid Rumours Of The Split From Alex Rodriguez
That is according to the singer’s latest Instagram post in which she posted a picture of her daughter, Emma crying. She was being consoled by Marc Anthony, who is Jennifer’s ex, and the father of Emma. The photo was captioned with the following comments: “When they are sad, but momma and daddy are there #coconuts,” the “On the Floor. I love you!! So proud of you.”
Alex, for his part, is also a father from a prior relationship with Cynthia Scurtis. The duo had two children Natasha, 16, and Ella, 12. Naturally, they were also apprehensive, but in a different way. They had been concerned that Jennifer was being ushered in as a replacement for their mother. Alex, though, sought to reassure them.
In an appearance on the Raising the Bar podcast, Alex said: “[Cynthia and I] positioned what could be perceived as a negative into a positive by saying to the girls, ‘Look, now you don’t have one house, you have two houses. You don’t have two parents; you have four parents. Lucky you.’ The more, the merrier.”
And this uncertainty quickly transpired to Jennifer and Alex’s own plans: their wedding. The pandemic disrupted their wedding. They chose to wait in the hope of having a big wedding bash. When addressing this issue, Jennifer told Access Hollywood: “There’s no rush, we’re good, everything’s cool, and it’ll happen when the time is right.
“I feel like it’s not a huge priority to go and have a big wedding right now, that’s not what life is about.” And yet, her words seem to have an underlying meaning. Namely, Jennifer was having doubts about committing to Alex. And why would that not be the case? After all, there were rumours that Madison Le Croy had been seeing Alex. Although Madison denied that anything happened, the rumours continued to persist. That would explain why Jennifer told Andy Cohen the following: “It’s like, do we get married? Do we not? What does it mean for use? It comes down to, like, personal, like, what do you want to do? There’s definitely no rush, though.”
